Our Mandate
The mandate for Premiere Dance & Theatre Arts Academy is to promote enjoyment of the performing arts and physical fitness for the young and old in Northumberland.
We believe in maintaining high standards of performance technique and disipline of study without sacrificing the enjoyment of learning and love of the arts regardless of whether students are pursuing a career or studying recreationally for pleasure.
We believe in providing performing experience and professional opportunities for gifted students by paving the way for those interested in a career as a performer or as an instructor.
We believe it is important for children to have the very best instruction from the very early stages of their training with the most experienced and mature instructors. As they develop as performers, they should also work with instructors who are contemporary artists in their field, a key group of instructors known as Artists-in-Residence.
We believe it is important for young performers to give back to their community in the form of local performances at benefits, community events and educational outreach programs in the schools.
