Egyptian Bellydance. The class will include warm up, technique, beginner choreography or dance component, and a meditation/reading to close.  Students will learn the basic belly dance moves like hip accents, shimmies, undulations and graceful arm movements.  I will also introduce dancers to veil work and Middle Eastern rhythms.  I alternate between Western and Middle Eastern teaching styles, which means I will break down the moves for students but also encourage them to follow me and turn off their censor brain.  Belly dancing (like all dance) is a way of sharing your story but it does so in a uniquely female way."
