Cindy Dickson, owner
Formerly a qualified fitness instructor and owner of Gold's Gym in Cobourg, Cindy is also known for her contributions to local charities and the arts.
Ms. Karen Marie Belyea, RAD, RTS, DMA
Karen is Artistic Director of Premiere Dance & Theatre Arts Academy and brings over 29 years of performing, teaching and choreographic experience to the Northumberland area.
She is a registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance and is a member of Dance Masters of America. She performed for many years with Danse Baroque and Tafelmusik Orchestra and Toronto dinner theatre. Many of Ms. Belyea's students have become professional dancers and received scholarships from many prestigious dance programs including Canadian Children's Dance Theatre, Quinte Ballet School of Canada, Sundance, Ryerson and York Universities. Her choreography has won Platinum and Gold medals at various competitions including Dance Educators of America where her choreography won Overall High Score and Most Outstanding Choreography.
Ms. Belyea has worked with various community productions including the Oriana Singers, Amahl and the Night Visitors, Kismet and the Northumberland Orchestra. Ms. Belyea is known in the community for organizing and choreographing dance performances for various charities including the Northumberland Hills Hospital Gala, Canadian Cancer Society, Children's Wish Foundation, The Northumberland Fare Share Food Bank, Community Care meals on Wheels, Rick Hansen Wheels in Motion, Victims of the Chernobyl Disaster, Cobourg Waterfront Festival, Bewdley Summerfest and Harwood Winter Festival.
Ms. Stephanie Booth
Stephanie is a graduate of the 3-year Professional Modern Dance program at the prestigious Toronto Dance Theatre. She has many performing and choreographic achievements that include winning Platinum and Gold medals in competition.
Ms. Booth is well known in Northumberland for her work with young children's classes and as teacher/choreographer at Trinity College School. She is a versatile instructor and performer and will be teaching Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Tap, Fitness and Jazz.
Lesley Daly
Lesley studied and toured with several flamenco dance companies in Spain, U.S.A. and Canada. She achieved her teaching qualifications in Spain and continues to return to Spain yearly with her husband, Michael, who plays guitar for her classes, this exciting dance form that is popular worldwide. She and her dance company, Viva Granada, have been featured at Canada’s Wonderland. She has also taught Flamenco at The Quinte Ballet School during their summer program.
Pat Hamilton
Pat has over 50 years of Tap dancing experience and taught for 19 years in Toronto. She is an award-winning Choreographer of her own troupe, The Scarborough Showstoppers, who were Silver Medallists at the World Dance championships in Germany, performed in China and throughout the US and Canada. For 15 years Ms. Hamilton has also choreographed the opening number for the RBC Seniors Jubilee at Roy Thomson Hall, Toronto. The Showstoppers have also performed in the Jubilee since 1990.
Sarah Matton B.F.A., A.R.A.D.
Sarah is a highly motivated dancer and choreographer with 18 years training in many disciplines. Since her first ballet class at the age of four, she has continued her craft and now holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Ryerson University’s dance program. She is delighted to share her passion for movement with up-and-coming dancers. Sarah has won many awards and scholarships over the years as well as dancing professionally. Her most memorable honours were taking instruction from National Ballet primas/primos Kimberly Glasco, Karen Kain, Nadia Potts, Frank Augustine, and Kevin Pugh. She has a diverse background with examination achievements in Pre-Advanced Tap & Jazz (A.D.A.P.T); Advanced Modern (I.S.T.D.); Intermediate Ballet (I.S.T.D.); Intermediate, Advanced I, & II Ballet (R.A.D.); She has also studied (C.D.T.A.) Tap & Jazz; (B.A.T.D.) Ballet and most recently achieved Acro teaching credentials (P.A.C.E.) Her other training extends from Lyrical, Hip-Hop, and Musical Theatre, to Acting, and Song & Dance. She also travels to New York City and L.A. to study under noted choreographers. She achieved the (Associate, of the Royal Academy of Dance) designations at age 18; and has been a member of the prestigious R.A.D. since 2001. For several years she has taught age levels ranging from two years old to adult. While attending Ryerson she participated in the annual Choreographic Works and Dance Voice productions. She also performed at Toronto’s International Dance Festival. Upon her graduation, she left to pursue dancing on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Up and coming, Sarah is performing in a Jazz show entitled The Best of Broadway at the end of the summer.

Stephen Roberts B.A.T.D.
Stephen joins our competitive team of choreographers. He is an active performer in New York and Toronto. He has been a performer and choreographer at the Stratford Festival and Sheridan Institute. He has a variety of performing experience including the lead in Peter Pan in Halifax to share with the dancers at premiere including Acro, Tap, Musical Theatre, Song and Dance, Lyrical and Jazz.

Victoria Scanlon
Victoria has 5 years of professional performing experience having toured with Canadian Childrens Dance Theatre and trained at Quinte Ballet School, Joffery Ballet and Premiere Dance & Theatre Arts Academy. She has worked with various choreographers from all over the world and teaches at the Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre. Miss Scanlon currently attends the School of Toronto Dance Theatre Professional Program and is in great demand as a performing artist.
Tanya Cardinal
Tanya and her husband Sylvain were undefeated Canadian Amateur Latin Champions in 1992 and 1993, and regular semifinalists at the World Amateur Latin Championships. They turned professional in 1994 and in 1999 they won the International Hong Kong Championships, and were semifinalists at the USDSC Championships Miami, and finished third in Canada for the Professional 10 - Dance Championships.
Tanya Cardinal brings over a decade of international experience, having performed at major events in Canada and the United States, competed in major competitions worldwide, and trained with the best coaches from the United Kingdom and the world. Paula Worley
Paula is the founder of Shakespeare Street Theatre, and the Director and Producer of all productions. In addition to abridging and editing Shakespeare's scripts herself, Paula also has skills in making costumes and props and designing and constructing scenery. She describes herself as a "crafist" (craft maker/artist), and ensures everything SST needs to perform is supplied, made or donated. Paula moved into directing many years ago with the goal to make Shakespeare's plays more popular again and bring them back to the people, utlising SST's catchphrase "..coming to a street corner near you", she takes SST plays everywhere. Paula is an actor herself, having graduated from the Guildford School of Acting in the UK in 1991. She is also a well known local drama teacher, and an accomplished scenery and set designer, mask and puppet maker.

Amanda Ferguson
Amanda has been dancing since the age of three and has been teaching competitive dance for the past five years. She has studied and taught various forms of dance including ballet (BATD, Cecchetti), tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, acro and hip hop. Amanda is a Trent University graduate with her Bachelor of ARts in Cultural Studies as well as a recent graduate of George Brown College’s renowned Commercial Dance Studies Program. At Trent, Amanda excelled on the dance team, choreographing numbers and teaching classes for three years before being named Captain. As Captain, Amanda put the Trent Dance Team on the map by performing with her team at charity events and fundraisers throughout the community.
Amanda has also taught at many studios across the GTA and the Kawarthas and has loved every second of it. Amanda has taught kids between the ages of five and nineteen and has won many awards for her choreography.
At George Brown, Amanda trained extensively in ballet, jazz, chorus repertoire, hip hop, vocal and acting. Her training at George Brown has prepared Amanda for the professional world of dance and has given her the tools to be a successful performer and artist.

Christyna McGregor
Having years of experience Dancing in theater productions in and around the Durham region, Christyna began choreographing in Oshawa and Whitby bringing her into her love of teaching dance. As a hip hop dancer for the Fanshawe Falcons Dance Pak in London Ontario she is excited to bring her love of dance into the studio.
Judy Reynolds
Ms Reynolds has extensive training in all aspects of Middle Eastern dance, including classical Egyptian cabaret, and the various folklore styles. In addition she has a ballet and contemporary background and an Honours Theatre degree from York University. She ran a belly dance academy in Toronto and in 2010 produced a full length Middle Eastern ballet The Red Scarf.
